Box office: Force 2, Tum Bin 2 fail to rake in moolah in first week

The films have suffered owing to reduced ticket rates and lukewarm response from critics and audience.

Mumbai: 'Force 2' and 'Tum Bin 2' have officially born the brunt of demonitisation and mediocre content, and are on its way out of the box-office.

'Force', although a fairly appreciated film, wasn't a great success at the box-office, having earned only about 28 crores approximate lifetime business.

According to boxofficeindia.com, 'Force 2,' helmed by Abhinay Deo, could barely rake in 26 crore rupees approximately, a measly figure in today's times.

The film is expected to do a lifetime business of approximately 30 crore rupees.

As far as 'Tum Bin 2' is concerned, the film starring Neha Sharma, Aditya Seal and Aashim Gulati didn't even manage to collect five crore rupees at the box-office and has collected close to four crores.

The films, which were hit by low ticket rates courtesy the cash crunch also were affected by the mediocre content and lukewarm critical response.

The arrival of Shah Rukh Khan-Alia Bhatt starrer 'Dear Zindagi,' have only facilitated the films' quick exits.

Well, these are some other sequels that have failed miserably to live up to their expectations.
