After the raging success of Andhadhun, director Sriram Raghavan plans to work with his leading man Ayushmann Khurrana again.
The director-writer is on cloud nine at the moment: His film Andhadhun not only received critical acclaim, but had also received positive results at the box office. Double celebrations are in store for the film, as it not only received the National Award for Best Screenplay, but its lead actor Ayushmann Khurrana has also won the award for Best Actor.
The director shares that he was elated to find out the news. “The National Award is different and prestigious when compared to all the other awards. When I heard about it, I felt very good. As for his next project, Raghavan will be doing a thriller for producer Ramesh Taurani. “This commitment has been pending for almost six years now. If all goes well, we will begin shooting by the beginning of 2020,” he says. And about working with Ayushmann again, the director has written a film for the actor, “But he has no time to listen to the script at the moment. Whenever he finds some time, I am sure he will hear the narration,” he says.
