No issues: Jackie Shroff, only 9 years older to Salman, to play his dad in Bharat

Jackie Shroff is all set to share screen space with Salman Khan once again after nine years. He will be seen playing Salman’s father in Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming film Bharat.

“Jackie has played Aamir Khan’s father in Dhoom 3, and Akshay Kumar’s father in Brothers. Now, he will be seen playing Salman’s father in Bharat. The film, an Indian adaptation of the Korean film An Ode To My Father, already has quite an extensive cast that features Priyanka Chopra, Disha Patani and Tabu, among others. The period drama will have Jackie and Salman being separated during the partition,” a source reveals.

Given that his son Tiger Shroff is trying to make a name for himself among the next generation of actors, Jackie seems to be comfortable playing dad to the heroes of today, never mind the fact that Salman is only nine years younger than him!
