In an attempt to meet their Harry, 400 girls show up at Shah Rukh Khan's residence!

The innovative marketing strategy for Jab Harry Met Sejal' seems to have yielded great results.

Mumbai: After ‘Raees by rail’ for his last release ‘Raees’, superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his team have come up with yet another innovative way to market his upcoming rom-com with Anushka Sharma, ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’.

In order to promote the film, Shah Rukh had recently announced that he will visit the city with maximum number of Sejals residing in it. When it was announced that Ahmedabad is the winner of this quirky nationwide hunt, SRK was happy to meet the girls along with director Imtiaz Ali and even released the first song of the film ‘Radha’ in their presence.

Khan’s team has received more than 7000 letters from girls with Sejal names, and still counting, and as many as 400 girls have visited ‘Mannat’ with the hope that they will get to meet the superstar. In fact, some have even gone to the extent of showing their IDs to SRK’s security team.

Shah Rukh's security team is used to handling fans outside his home but this one is different. It is about a promise by the man himself and the girls seem to be in no mood to let the opportunity go.

The biggest question is, with multiple promotional activities in hand and marketing strategies to execute, will the star be able to meet the Sejals in town?

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ stars Shah Rukh Khan as Harinder Singh Nehra and Anushka Sharma as Sejal Jhaveri.

The film has been produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and is slated to release on August 4.
