Three speculations that Salman starrer Tubelight trailer confirms about the film!
While the nation is patiently waiting for Salman Khan starrer ‘Tubelight’ trailer to release, we have already seen it and believe us, the wait is absolutely worth it. Ever since the film’s teaser came out, a lot of speculations about the film were made. Since we have already seen the official trailer, we can confirm few speculations to be true.
Here are three speculations that the trailer confirmed:
Cameo by Bollywood’s King Khan, Shah Rukh
While many speculate that the magician in the film’s teaser to be SRK, the trailer actually has a glimpse of him which confirms his cameo in Salman Khan starrer film. His character isn’t only intriguing but there’s also a mystery attached to it which we can’t wait to unfold once the film hits the theatres.
Salman Khan brings back his childlike innocent character from Bajrangi Bhaijaan
Teaser pretty much reminded us of Salman’s character fram Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan and guess what? The trailer does the same. Salman, who plays a slow-witted man-child in the film, looks like a rehashed version of Pavan from ‘BB’. However, one still can’t help but fall in love with his innocence.
Not really an Indo-Chinese war film but a story about brotherly love
Since the beginning, we have been thinking that the film is about Indo-Chinese war and will have some intense scenes in it.
But looking at the trailer, one thing is for sure, the film isn’t a war story but a heart touching tale of two brother’s undying love and strong bond which is set in the backdrop of the war. The film is also not a love story.
Tubelight, which is produced by Salma Khan & Salman Khan and directed by Kabir Khan, stars Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Chinese actress Zhu Zhu. It is co-produced by Amar Butala.
The film will release in cinemas worldwide on Eid.
The real-life brothers Sohail Khan and Salman play reel brothers in this film, once again. Sohail’s character is in the army, as is evident, fighting the Sino-Indian war of 1962, to the backdrop of which the film is set.
The cinematography of the film, admittedly, is striking and appropriate. Salman, who has earlier portrayed the role of a mentally unstable person in ‘Kyon Ki’, seems to have evolved as an actor, if one is to go by the teaser.
Incidentally, Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon’ also dealt with a fictionalised episode from a period war environment.
