Producer Sunil Sanjan invested his entire earnings on Flat 211

Mumbai: Writer, director and producer of an upcoming film, 'Flat 211', Sunil Sanjan says that his IT job has played a very important role in the making of the film. The producer actually means that the entire cost of the movie was covered from his job's salary. Being emotional, he described how he managed to create the film with the help of his job.

"I was from an IT background. I was working in an IT company when the film was going on. From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. I used to work and after that from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on the weekends I used to work for my film. I had a very big job, I used to manage projects in nearly 17 Gulf countries . I used to spend a lot of time in traveling too. Because of that my schedule was so tight that even if I approach a popular actor for my film, then maybe my schedule was not matching with them. This is the reason why I could not include any popular actors in my film despite having a good reach with them."

"But actors in my film are very talented, they came from the world of theaters and TVs, who are very good and entertaining, they could match with my schedule. Suppose, if there is a shoot today then I had a liberty to call them tomorrow, instead of 10 o'clock I would call them at 12 o'clock and then they would not have had any trouble in it. If I would have included popular actors in my film, I would probably have to quit my job. And was not ready to leave my job, because that was the only source of funds for the film. If I would have left the job then my film could not be made. "Sunil further said.

Sunil, who is fond of movies since childhood originally belongs to Jammu & Kashmir. By getting his higher education, he started working in a multinational IT company, but still his interest were always on the lines of films. Finally, he fulfilled his dream of coming into the film line by making a film with the help of his another profession.

'Flat 211' will be released on 2nd June, 2017.
