Shabash Naidu's schedule has now been delayed by two weeks.

Kamal Haasan’s new comedy Shabash Naidu, which brings him and daughter Shruti Haasan together for the first time, got into visa trouble. The unit, which was all set to leave for the US to shoot for the Telugu-Tamil-Hindi comedy, got stuck due to visa issues.
When contacted, Kamal Haasan says, “We can’t blame them for being extra-cautious, considering the times we’re going through. God knows, America has enough problems to deal with.”
Kamal says the problem has now been sorted out. “There were 40 of us and some names on the passports raised problems.” Kamal’s own Islamic-sounding name has often caused a minor stir at immigration counters. Laughs the actor, “It’s all sorted now. And we leave two weeks behind schedule.”
