Watch: Meri Pyaari Bindu's new song Afeemi is extremely melodious and soulful

Mumbai: After the interesting five trailers of ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ gave us a good idea about the lives of Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana’s characters, the songs in the album have also been creating significant buzz for the film.

While the first song ‘Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi’ displayed the exceptional vocal skills of debutante singer Parineeti, the second song ‘Haareya’ focused more on Ayushmann’s character as he revisited his relationship with Parineeti.

The third song ‘Ye Jawaani Teri’ saw the couple going retro as they grooved to the beats of the ’70s and the ‘80s.

The fourth song ‘Afeemi’ is out and is a lot softer than the other songs and extremely melodious.

We see Parineeti’s character Bindu’s musical side as he strums the guitar and displays her singing potential, before bagging the opportunity to actually sing and going on to see the CD of her album in the stores.

Ayushmann’s character is the rock in her life as he stands by her as she chases her dreams and their chemistry in all their intimate and light-hearted moments is a joy to watch.

The song has been rendered by Jigar Saraiya and Sanah Moidutty and has been composed by Sachin-Jigar.

‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ releases on 12 May.
