Revealed: Why Ranbir Kapoor skipped Taimur's first birthday bash at Pataudi Palace

Like all cousins, Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan share a great relationship. So it won’t come as a surprise to know that the actor is really close to Kareena and Saif Ali Khan’s son Taimur. But even as Kareena and Saif and their close family brought in Taimur’s first birthday, mama Ranbir Kapoor was missing from the celebrations at the Pataudi estate. While the birthday party saw several Kapoors dancing merrily the Tamasha actor was amiss.

We are informed that Ranbir was very much a part of the personal invitee list for the little boy’s first birthday party. “Ranbir is very fond of Taimur and that is also one of the reasons he was invited for Taimur’s celebration. Ranbir was keen to go, but a few important work-related things came up and he could not make it,” we are informed. But then Kareena and Saif were rather disappointed that Ranbir could not make it, though the Pataudi and the Kapoor khandaan did enjoy the party a lot.
