Vaani Kapoor has never really received the audience’s hate until now. Recently, the WAR actress took to Instagram to post a picture of her in a blouse made out of a religious cloth Ramnami, which has ‘Ram’ inscribed all over it. Even though the actress has deleted the controversial picture, it wasn’t long before the photo went viral and invited the wrath of netizens.
One person tweeted: “Shameless Vaani Kapoor, we will boycott your films. You people don’t understand till you are commercially affected.”
A police complaint has also been lodged against the Befikre actress at Mumbai’s NM Joshi Marg Police Station. The complaint letter stated: “The undersigned has come across a photograph of Bollywood actress by name Ms Vaani Kapoor on her Instagram, where under, she is found in vulgar cloth in semi-nude position and over her body and more particularly from her shoulder to breast, she is found to be wearing blouse/brassiere made out a cloth-like Ramnami, in as much as the names of Lord Shri Ram has been described containing ‘Shri Ram’, which denotes to Lord Shri Ram (sic).”
