Tamannaah, Sunny, other stars go gaga over Kygo's show in Hyderabad, Mumbai

The DJ is set to perform in Hyderabad on Friday at the Gachibowli Stadium.

The stage is set for the highly-anticipated Kygo Sunburn Arena Tour, brought to the country by Percept Live. We caught up with a few celebrities to get their first hand reactions to the tour.

Says Tamannaah Bhatia, “It’s a matter of pride that Hyderabad has become such a power player when it comes to international concerts of repute. I have heard Kygo’s music in the past and he’s a phenomenal act and everyone in Hyderabad should go watch him perform.”

Sunny Leone says that she wouldn’t want to miss the concert, “I have already told Kygo how fans go bananas in India and that he is going to have a kickass time here and I can’t wait to meet him. I am attending the concert.”

While Arbaaz Khan says that he likes Kygo’s style of music and can’t wait to see him spin, Neil Nitin Mukesh adds, “If you’re a dance music fan, this is one act you can’t miss out on. I listen to a lot of Kygo when I’m working out. His music has a very calming effect on me.”

Meanwhile, Prateik Babbar says that he is a huge fan of Kygo’s style of tropical house. He adds, “I can’t wait to catch him perform live in India. I have a special surprise also planned for him when he comes to Mumbai.”

Speaking of Kygo’s musical journey, his breakthrough was smooth and sturdy. His debut single Firestone with Conrad Sewell made it to top 10 charts across the world, while his remix of Ed Sheeran’s I See Fire introduced him to a whole new legion of fans.

He followed that with huge collaborations, climbing into the studio with Selena Gomez and Ellie Goulding, among others, and in November of 2017, he dropped eight more new tracks on his sophomore LP, Kids in Love, broadening his dance-pop sound with bigger ballads, more introspective moments and sophisticated pop sensibilities.
