Mumbai: ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushil’ has been having a dream promotional campaign, voluntary and otherwise. Every song from the film has been topping the charts and the music and trailers have caught on phenomenally with the youth.

The highly anticipated ‘Cutiepie,’ which also had featured in the film’s trailer, has finally released and it’s everything that it had promised to be.

The song has a characteristically goofy Ranbir, doing his thing with an equally charming Anushka being her inimitably outspoken and bubbly self.

The very infectious song, composed by Pritam and sung by Pradeep Singh Sran and Nakash Aziz, sets your foot tapping from the word go, and Karan couldn't have looked for a better time to release this sureshot chartbuster.

The song, which does not feature Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, is a beautiful testimony to the phenomenally effortless chemistry between Ranbir and Anushka.

‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,’ which had been mired in some serious controversy over the casting of Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan in the film, has barely recuperated from it, after producer-director Karan Johar and MNS chief Raj Thackeray arrived on a consensus, with the latter promising to facilitate a smooth release for the film and Karan agreeing to contribute 5 crore ruppes into the Army relief fund and screening a tribute montage on the Uri terror attack before the film commences at the movie.

Thackeray, who’d vehemently asserted that they wouldn’t let the movie be released, had also come in for some serious backlash from the army, for his extortionist means.

With the tremendous success of the songs and the monumental hype surrounding the film, it’s all but a formality for the film to have a beast of an opening at the box-office.
