Rhea Kapoor to style sister Sonam and Kareena's Veere Di Wedding

Mumbai: With names like Sonam Kapoor , Kareena Kapoor Khan and Rhea Kapoor (the hand behind Sonam Kapoor's iconic looks) audiences and fashion aficionados can expect nothing short of sartorial magic with 'Veere Di Wedding.'

The film is a fun ride that explores the spirit of the modern Indian woman and it goes without saying that fashion plays a huge part in the film. While Rhea has styled for Sonam Kapoor in the past ,it is for the very first time that she will officially be styling for a movie.

Known for her progressive and unique sartorial sense and her extremely successful clothing brand, it was a natural call for Rhea to take charge of the styling for this film.

Since the entertainer is scheduled to go on floors this year, Rhea Kapoor made a recent trip to New York to shop for the outfits , scanning both local and vintage boutiques, as well as international luxury designer stories housed in the Big Apple.

Says a source, “ Rhea and Sonam Kapoor were in New York for a few of their professional commitments and then stayed back to look for outfits for the four leading ladies. Since the story is urban and contemporary, fashion plays a big part and Rhea wanted the looks in the film to reflect that. While Rhea was involved in the styling for 'Aisha,' this will be the first film she is officially styling for a movie.In fact several big brands have also been reaching out to the makers, wanting to associate with the film. In many ways, 'Veere Di Wedding' is going to be a game-changer in the fashion space and will be Bollywood's most fashionable film.”

The entertainer directed by Shashanka Ghosh, stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania.
