Ranveer Singh to star in Karan Johar's next?
Mumbai: If recent reports are to be believed, Ranveer Singh, who has two films- 'Befikre' and 'Padmavati' in his kitty this year, has been roped in to star in Karan Johar's next production.
The DNA quoted a source saying, "Karan and Ranveer have never worked together. There was talk of Ranveer doing Karan's Ram Lakhan, directed by Rohit Shetty, but that fizzled out. However, both Ranveer and KJo have been keen to work together since then. They have been in talks since Ranveer's return from Paris and both, it seems, have zoomed in on an intense love story, which will be directed by one of Dharma's directors."
"Everything, including dates and fees, are in the process of being finalised. An announcement is expected in a couple of months," the insider added.
The movie would be the first collaboration of Karan and the 'Bajirao Mastani' star.
Apart from this, the 'Gunday' actor has also bagged Aditya Chopra film, which would star superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. The movie is likely to go on floors this year in November.
