Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has confirmed that work has finally begun on the fourth installment of his comedy franchise, Golmaal, and it will be titled Golmaal Again. Rohit is said to be currently engaged in the scripting of the movie and the film is scheduled to go on floors in December this year.
The new installment of the movie will be shot in a start-to- end schedule and will be wrapped up by February 2017, so it’s ready in time for a Diwali release.
After the Dilwale director confirmed the news, the official spokesperson of the film stated, “The superhit team behind the greatest entertainment trilogy is glad to announce the fourth part of their blockbuster franchise, titled Golmaal Again, which is slated for a Diwali release next year. Get ready to crack up with laughter…again.”
The makers timed the announcement for Golmaal Again to coincide with the completion of 10 years of the first movie. Golmaal Again will bring together Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn once more. Arshad Warsi, who has been part of the franchise since the first edition, will also be a part of the film.
