Mumbai: When it comes to robberies, no one, not even Bollywood stars are immune from becoming victim to such crimes. Sonu Sood and his family fell victim to a robbery in Madrid, where they are present to attend the annual International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA).
Sonu's wife Sonali was robbed off her baggage as soon as she landed in Madrid. According to locals, it all happened when an unidentified person snatched away Sonali's handbag, which contained several important documents including passports.
The star's wife who was in a rude shock, immediately alerted Sonu about the entire incident. Within no time, Sonu filed a complaint and also visited the Indian Embassy. The officials have assured that they will immediately look into the matter and take strict action.
