What spirits possess celebs to Tweet at night, and get into trouble?

Celebrities have been tweeting one controversial tweet after another, offending a mind too many in the process.

Mumbai: Pulkit Samrat has mostly been making news only for his many controversies, with his movies failing to make the right kind of noise.

The actor created a ruckus last night, by slamming T-Series, calling them frauds, albeit with a typo.

Better sense prevailed however, and Pulkit later ended up deleting the tweet.

The actor had earlier pulled a similar stunt, slyly going on an expletive-laden rant against unnamed parties.

What was common between the two instances was the time period when the tweets were posted. Both the sessions had been after midnight, making one wonder what might trigger the actor to take to the internet to rant at such an ungodly hour.

Ram Gopal Varma, Bollywood's enfant terrible, who recently courted fresh controversy by calling Tiger Shroff a woman, had once famously said that whatever tweets appear on his profile post midnight were the Vodka's, not his.

Comedian Kapil Sharma had also taken to Twitter during the wee hours, tagging PM Narendra Modi in a rant on corruption.

Recent tweets of Paresh Rawal, Abhijeet and Sonu Nigam's have already been getting 'rave' reviews for their strongly 'nationalist' content. A lot of those often sound like the consequence of a session on the rocks.

Anurag Kashyap, who has a sensational cold war on with former mentor Ram Gopal Varma, had himself pulled a major stunt by divulging a journalist's contact details. He had also ranted criticising Narendra Modi, much to the surprise of his peers.

Though the director didn't wait for the clock to strike 12 to tweet, there's a high probability that the director didn't wait until midnight to commence the revelries itself.

With most of their 'expression of the self' post midnight landing these celebrities in a soup, maybe it's time they kept their debauchery off the internet.
