This is why Salman Khan agreed to do Sultan!
New Delhi: Salman Khan, who has been announced today as the Goodwill Ambassador for Indian contingent at Rio Olympics 2016, has revealed that he took up the part in the upcoming movie 'Sultan' because he wanted to enjoy the pain of learning.
"The pain of learning, what these people have, which push you to the next level, somewhere I don't have that anymore. That is what I want to get back and that is the reason why I signed Sultan at 50 and enjoy the pain of learning," said the 50-year-old actor during a media interaction in the national capital.
In this Ali Abbas Zafar directorial venture, the 'Kick' actor will be portraying a wrestler, named Sultan Ali Khan, and the story will revolve around his personal and professional life.
Salman has been training extensively in mixed martial arts and wrestling to prepare for his role. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Yash Raj Films, 'Sultan' is Salman's Eid offering for this year.
The movie, which also stars Anushka Sharma, is set to release this Eid. Anushka has completed her part of the shoot in the earlier New Delhi schedule. She is currently in Punjab shooting for her own production, 'Phillauri'.
