Shahid Kapoor is leaving no stone unturned for the promotion of his film, Rangoon. And there is a good reason. Sasha’s films like Haider and Udta Punjab won him awards and critical acclaim, but films, including the super flop Shandaar, didn’t do much at the box office.
In spite of being a good actor, Shahid has not made it to the Rs 100 crore club yet. It’s a well-known fact that a star is considered dependable and bankable only if his films make it to the Rs 100 crore mark.
This time Sasha might just do it. If not Rangoon, Padmavati, which also stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer, might do the trick.
