Hyderabad: Indian actor Shah Rukh Khan will reportedly be representing Bollywood at the GES.
Delegates from 150 countries will be participating and rivalling Shah Rukh, will be US President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump.
“Shah Rukh Khan is to be present on the inaugural day on November 28. We are awaiting confirmation from him,” said a government official. He also said that the ace actor may take part in the cultural events presented at the dinner hosted by the Government of India in the Nizam’s dining hall in the Taj Falaknuma Palace Hotel.
One of the focus areas of the GES, which is co-hosted by the United States and India, is Media and Entertainment. As being home to Hollywood and Bollywood respectively, the two nations are at the forefront of the entertainment industry. Shah Rukh Khan would make a good speaker in the panel discussions, but he will be present only on the inaugural day.
