Chunky Pandey's daughter to make her debut in Tiger Shroff's Student of the Year 2?

Mumbai: On Monday, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions released the first look poster of Student of the Year 2 feat Tiger Shroff as the first ‘student’ on board. This film is a sequel to 2011 super-hit film Student of the Year helmed by Karan Johar. The film marked the debut of Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan in Bollywood. And if the rumours are to be believed, Chunky Panday’s daughter Ananya may make her Bollywood debut with the Dharma Productions film.

“The makers had shortlisted a lot of candidates for Student of the Year 2, but looks like they have nearly signed Ananya Pandey for the part. She fits the part perfectly and the team is really excited about this talented, new actress. Advance talks are underway and an announcement is being awaited,” a leading gossip portal quoted a source as saying.

Initially, everyone thought that Jhanvi Kapoor would play the lead in the movie. But actress is already busy with Dharma Production’s Dhadak, and Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan who is also busy with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath. So Ananya, who is already popular on social media, might be a perfect choice for the makers. As per the reports, the script needs two female leads and the team is now searching for the second heroine.

Student of the Year 2 will be directed by Punit Malhotra.
