Exclusive:Kahaani 2' makers think Wajah Tum Ho' is no threat, release date a plan?

Mumbai: In order to avoid clashing with Alia Bhatt’s ‘Dear Zindagi’, who the producers of ‘Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh’ consider as family, the PEN Limited-backed sequel of 2011 hit ‘Kahaani’ will now release on the same day as erotic thriller ‘Wajah Tum Ho’.

While Jayantilal Gada (of PEN Limited) claims that the reason behind pushing the film’s release date is completely personal, a well-placed source tells us that the makers chose December 2 for releasing their film as they feel ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ is a small movie and will not cause any commercial harm to their star-studded film.

Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, ‘Kahaani 2’ brings Arjun Rampal and Vidya Balan together for the first time. And going by the teasers and dialogue promos, Arjun and Vidya have aced their respective roles.

Both the films are thrillers and have murder mystery at its heart. The ‘Kahaani 2’ trailer has garnered rave reviews for its intriguing trailer and ‘Wajah Tum Ho’, on the other hand, is making headlines for its racy content.

‘Wajah Tum Ho’ has a glamorous star cast, consisting of model-turned-actor Rajneesh Duggal, Gurmeet Chaudhury, Sana Khan, Sherlyn Chopra and Sharman Joshi.

It will be an interesting face-off!
