The reason why Salman Khan ditched Aamir Khan's big Diwali bash

Mumbai: Aamir Khan’s recent Diwali party was a big attraction for media and fans alike due to presence of many Bollywood celebrities. Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and many others were gathered at Aamir’s house to celebrate Diwali. Surprisingly, Salman who is amongst Aamir’s best friends was missing at the bash. Moreover, Salman Khan was seen at sister Arpita’s party, Race 3 producer Ramesh Taurani and Sanjay Dutt’s bash, so naturally Salman’s absence at Aamir’s party baffled many.

But now we know why Salman did not show up at Aamir’s party inspite of getting invited. According to reports in DNA, Salman was supposed to attend Aamir’s Diwali bash on Thursday night, but he couldn’t make it as he was rushing to shoot the weekend episode for Bigg Boss 11 at Lonavala.

As reported in the daily, Salman Khan was at his Panvel farmhouse. “Salman was to leave for Greece on Friday night. He usually shoots the Bigg Boss weekend episodes over the weekend in Lonavala, outside Mumbai. This time, he began early as he wanted to finish early and leave for the airport. Because of the early shoot, he decided to stay at his farmhouse, which is half-an-hour away from the location,” a source revealed.

Well, just like the fans of this hit Andaz Apna Apna jodi, we are relieved that all is well between the two superstars.

Aamir Khan’s latest Zaira Wasim starrer Secret Superstar is doing well at the box office. Salman will gear up for his Christmas release Tiger Zinda Hai alongside Katrina Kaif.
