‘Raat Baaki’ reprised as new song ‘Ittefaq se’ in Ittefaq

The first track ‘Ittefaq se’ from Ittefaq which is a reprised avatar of a song from 'Namak Halaal', released today.
The Akshaye Khanna, Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha starrer murder mystery is set to release on November 3.

Mumbai: The one and only song from the upcoming suspense thriller Ittefaq has released today. The song features Sonakshi and Siddharth in a mysterious avatar that will surely multiply the curiosity about the film.
The song is titled ‘Ittefaq se’and it is a beautiful rendition of 1982 Amitabh Bachchan starrer Namak Halal’s song ‘Raat Baaki’, featuring Parveen Babi.

Earlier, Sonakshi shared the glimpses of the song on her social media.

'Raat Baaki' was written by Anjaan, composed by Bappi Lahiri and sung by him and Asha Bhosle. The new track, recreated by Tanishq Bagchi, has additional lyrics and vocals by the composer, and singers Nikita Gandhi and Jubin Nautiyal.

despite some groovy beats, the video features the protagonists of the film without any dance moves. In accordance with the film's mysterious theme, they're instead seen in their on-screen personas.

The song will be used during rolling credits of the film, otherwise are no songs in this 100 minutes long film.

Ittefaq, directed by Abhay Chopra, is a remake of the Rajesh Khanna-Nanda starrer 1969 murder mystery by the same name. Although the new version is different in terms of plot, it is being said that a lot of elements are inspired from its original. The trailer of the new film generated lot of excitement amongst the people, the makers hopes the same from the song. Ittefaq is slated to release on November 3.
