This is the story behind the adorable Ranbir-Aishwarya throwback picture!

Mumbai: We all had spent hours staring at this absolutely adorable picture of a very young Ranbir Kapoor with an ever so gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

The picture, that had been clicked on the sets of Rishi Kapoor’s directorial ‘Aa Ab Laut Chale,’ which had starred Ash, had taken the social media by storm. But turns out there also is an equally adorable story behind it.

Ash, who’ll be seen opposite Ranbir in Karan Johar’s ‘Ae dil Hai Mushkil,’ has been promoting the film along with her co-stars, including Anushka Sharma, all guns blazing.

During one such legs, on the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show, she elaborated on the picture and revealed the incidents that went into the clicking of it.

"There's a cute story that I have to share. So Ranbir had just passed his 10th standard and the results were out. This party was thrown for him. Whenever I see this picture, I go into flashback. He came and told me he got some 65.4% but till we did Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, I didn't know he was lying to me.

"He had got 54.3% actually. So his grand-mom Krishna aunty was so excited and she wanted to throw a huge party. We were at the side, laughing at everyone. He kept saying, 'itne mein hi itna khush hai sab ke sab'," she said on the show.

This titbit only made the picture all the more endearing, we must admit!
