Kapil Sharma halves his fees for channel to continue with The Kapil Sharma Show?

Mumbai: Kapil Sharma’s comedy show’s ratings have been dropping drastically, and Kapil is very well aware of it. Ever since the ratings of the show have been dropped and owing to it Kapil has taken a cut in his remuneration.

Apparently, it was the verbal tiff between Kapil Sharma and comedian Sunil Grover that led to the latter’s exit from the show, and that's what caused the show's ratings worse.

A source informed a daily about the same saying that Kapil and the channel mutually decided to renegotiate his fees and it has been cut by almost half now.

This is a tradition followed in the West, where the artists come forward to reduce their fees in order to continue with the show.

Reportedly, Krushna Abhishek is hosting a show, ‘The Drama Company,’ on the same channel, which has Ali Asgar and Sugandha Mishra.

Sunil Grover will be making guest appearances.

This show will be aired at 8 pm, while Kapil’s show will continue to be aired at the 9 pm slot.
