It felt good to be back on Hirani's set: Boman Irani
Boman Irani, one of the most versatile actors in showbiz, is considered a lucky mascot by the prolific filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani.
Hirani, who is busy shooting the Sanjay Dutt biopic, managed to sneak in a unique role for Boman in the film.
Boman says, “Raju couldn’t find something for me in the beginning, but he wanted me to do something. He requested me to make a special appearance, and I readily agreed. I have already shot for my role in the film.”
“It was nostalgic, and it felt good to be back on Hirani’s set. I hate to use the word lucky mascot because his films have nothing to do with luck. It’s about the story,” he added.
Boman has been a part of all of Rajkumar Hirani’s films, including Munna Bhai MBBS, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, 3 Idiots and PK.
Revealing further about his character, Boman said, “It’s an unknown character, not a famous person. In a biopic, most of the characters relate to that person’s life, but this person is not known to the public. You might not have read his name in the papers,” he signs off.
