Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Vanga reveals why Tara was signed opposite Shahid

Much before the release of her Bollywood debut, Student Of The Year 2, actress Tara Sutaria has already managed to bag another plum project. She has roped in to play the female lead in the Hindi remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy, and she will be seen romancing Shahid Kapoor on screen.

Commenting on her casting, the film’s director, Sandeep Vanga, says, “Tara is trained singer and we believe her expressive nature will add to her appeal. With her looks, she fits the bill perfectly. We believe she will be able to pull off the role with elan.”
