Will Shahid Kapoor collaborate with Aiyaary director Neeraj Pandey for next?

Shahid Kapoor is on a meeting spree. The Padmaavat actor has been on the lookout for the right projects even as his film Batti Gul Meter Chalu is about to be completed. He has already had a meeting with Ekta Kapoor, as we had recently reported.

And now Shahid, and TSeries’ Bhushan Kumar, has apparently had a closed-door meeting with Neeraj Pandey. Neeraj, whose film Aiyaary released earlier this year to a lukewarm response, has fallen out with Akshay Kumar and needed a big star for his next. “It was a very fruitful meeting between the three and an announcement is soon on the cards.

Shahid has already allotted bulk dates to Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra for Kabaddi and is also toying with dates for one of his favourite filmmakers, Vishal Bharadwaj, apart from Imtiaz Ali. You can expect an announcement soon,” says a trade source.
