Exclusive: Indian audience will accept such sexual fantasies, says Mahesh Bhatt
Mumbai: The erotic trailer ‘Love Games’ and the superhit songs of the film starring Patralekha in an absolutely sizzling hot avatar as a sexy seductress, alongside Tara Alisha Berry and Gaurav Arora has been generating much buzz amongst eager audiences who are now awaiting its release.
In a quick chat with DC, producer Mahesh Bhatt, he shares his opinion on breaking norms on screen with ‘Love Games’, “We are getting certain kind of response since the content is exploding into homes. Our audience is growing. This film is not showing any imaginative explicit content but rather a source of environment. It is more like holding a mirror. It is not perceived. These are sexual fantasies that people cant look away from. The Indian attitude has drastically changed over these years. When a threesome can be shown in House of Cards in White House, then what is the issue in ‘Love Games’.
Bhatt camp is known to launch many fresh faces in the past such as Bipasha Basu, Malika Sherawat and many more. Patralekhaa and Tara Alisha Berry join the camp with ‘Love Games’, “Tara Alisha Berry is amazing. She doesn’t just have pretty face but an unusual actor. Patralekhaa is good too. It is a fresh narrative.”
Extensively shot in Cape Town, ‘Love Games’ is the story of a con couple, who attend parties in search of happy couples and try to break their happy relationship, and initiate their plan called ‘Love Games’. The game in which they insist each other to be the first one to have sex with the other couple. Produced by Mukesh Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt, ‘Love Games’ is set to hit theatres on April 8th, 2016.
