Mumbai: What started out as a scandalous cheating rumour has now turned into a blossoming romance. Recently, there were rumours of Farhan Akhtar's growing closeness to Kalki Koechlin. Now, there are reports stating that the two are all set to move in together.
Farhan made headlines when he ended his 16-year long marriage with Adhuna. The moment divorce news came out, B-town was abuzz with Farhan’s extra-marital affair being the root cause of the separation. The actor, who chose to maintain silence over the reports was linked with Aditi Rao Hydari and then his ‘Rock On 2’ co-star Shraddha Kapoor.
Farhan and Kalki shared screen space in ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ (2011) and have been “good friends” ever since. Kalki, who was in live-in relationship with Anurag Kashyap for few years before marrying the filmmaker in 2011, separated with the director in year 2013.
Recently, when Farhan was asked about his link-ups, he said, “Well, I really don’t know why the rumours spread like fire and why the rumours have started. I guess people enjoy what they watch on screen and feel the chemistry that is happening on screen... maybe (they) confuse it with what is happening in real life.”
