This is what Shah Rukh Khan has to say about his manliness!

Shah Rukh Khan was present at Farhan Akhtar's Lalkaar music concert, an event under his MARD campaign.

Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan and Farhan Akhtar came together during Men Against Rape and Discrimination (MARD) Concert also known as Lalkar Concert , to support the social campaign to eradicate violence against women. SRK poured his heart out and spoke about the necessity of respecting and accepting women for what they are.

Shah Rukh Khan said, “Farhan and I are generally not considered manly because we are a bit gentle, quiet, shy and we treat women well, in our hearts, souls and I have been told to say ‘equally’. (But) Farhan and I, and I am sure all the people present here, feel women are extremely superior than us and we are even scared of them.”

“But I believe that women are superior to men in many levels and I am not ashamed of the fact that I am a little shy and scared of women whether she is my mother, wife, sister or friends. Women bring a quietude, a calm energy to the universe. So, any form of violence happening to any woman is the horrible thing can happen,” he added.

The Lalkaar Concert was a part of the ‘Bas Ab Bahut Ho Gaya- Enough is Enough’ campaign to end violence against women and girls. The ‘Raees’ actor also recited a poem penned by Javed Akhtar.
