Even as Ajay Devgn’s poster of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior was put out on Monday, the actor-producer is now planning a blitz of films under the tagline, The Unsung Warrior. Sources from the industry confirm that Ajay is keen to make more films on such unsung warriors like Tanhaji, as he realised during the making of the film about the immense contribution made by brave soldiers in Indian history.

“It is not just about a film, but also about a plan for a web series based on unsung heroes and warriors from Maratha and Indian history. Ajay is also doing a film called Bhuj, which is about another unsung warrior Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik. Ajay has registered titles like Unsung Heroes, Unsung Warriors and 7 Unsung Warriors with the Indian Motion Pictures Producers’ Association, which he intends to make either as films, TV shows or a web series,” says a trade source.

Tanhaji, laden with multiple special effects, also stars Saif Ali Khan along with Kajol and Ajinkya Deo, and will release on January 10, 2020.
