Rumours of a discord between Salman Khan and Kabir Khan are the latest to be doing the rounds in movie circles. This one, too, was allegedly triggered due to creative differences. However, sources close to both, the actor and the director, are quickly coming out to debunk the whispers. Kabir completely rubbishes rumours of a rift. When contacted, a terse Kabir said, “This is complete rubbish. In fact, I’m about to leave for my shoot today.”
While Kabir will say no more, a close friend elaborates, “Salman collaborating with filmmakers on the sets is nothing new. He started becoming progressively participative during Dabanng’s shoot. Then onwards, he’s been consistently giving inputs for all of his films. For Sultan, Salman even sat for the editing and postproduction. Kabir himself took Salman’s inputs during Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Many of Salman’s suggestions were incorporated in their earlier film together. Why would Kabir mind now?”
As a close friend of Salman Khan puts it wryly, “Here, they can’t bear to see any two persons being close. That’s why these rumours of Kabir and Salman fighting during Tubelight have come up. After two blockbusters and one more on the way, it seems like it’s time to separate them before they make a fourth money-spinner together.”
