Some roles demand more from actors than other projects. For Shah Rukh Khan, Fan can be put in that category given that he had to play two roles and put on a lot of prosthetic make-up. The movie also had a lot of action sequences and with his knee bothering him, it got pretty tough for the actor at times. It was not just his knee injury that proved to be a problem for the actor, though. While the shoot for Fan was ongoing, the actor’s face often looked abnormally red and even had strange markings on it. His friends speculated that it was the humid weather causing an adverse reaction.
However, it turns out that it was the after-effects of using prosthetics for Fan that caused these marks to appear. A source said, “His skin got inflamed because of the prosthetics but it was nothing serious. He regularly applied some cream, which made the marks disappear eventually. He wanted his face to be alright before he began shooting for Imtiaz’s next.” The actor is currently abroad shooting for the film with Anushka Sharma.
