Mumbai: When it comes to delivering hit films, Katrina might not be that lucky but the actress has surely carved a niche for herself as one of the most bankable star in the brand business, with equity on par the top male superstars and sports personalities.
Not surprisingly, the star actress was announced 'Brand Endorser of the Year – Female' at the International Advertising Association Awards earlier in 2013 and voted the most powerful celebrity endorser, in a celebrity-brand association recall study conducted by Ormax Media 2014.
Representing the voice of the young Indian woman who is independent, confident and individualistic, Katrina was recently signed as the face of Berger Paints and shot a big budget campaigns with Splash and FBB fashion, with talk of several more in the pipeline.
Says a source, "Katrina Kaif has brand endorsement deals, that are equivalent to some of the biggest superstar actors and sports personalities. She has recently been signed on for Berger Paints, shot a campaign for Splash and for the FBB spring collection. The star is also in talks with a few brands from the health and fitness space as she has been giving online users major fitness goals on the social media space. Details of the deals are unknown at this point as the paperwork is yet to be finalized."
