Rahul refuted the rumours of leaving her alone to deal with the situation and claimed that he was the one who got medicines prescribed for her. Apparently, they decided to terminate the pregnancy thinking about their future as they were planning to get married in November.

He also spoke about the post-mortem report and said that someone has circulated a recording claiming it to be hers where she speaks about the reason behind committing suicide.

On April 19, Medical investigations indicated that she may have been pregnant before death.
