Alia Bhatt slams reports of her being upset with other actresses

Mumbai: Very few newcomers have touched the kind of critical and commercial success like Alia Bhatt has.

The actress is hugely appreciated for her immense craft, and has also become a supremely bankable star in her own rights over the years.

This had led to a lot of rumours stating that her peers have been striving to achieve the kind of acclaim she has. Alia, who had ventured into playback singing quite early into her career, and that too under the superlative guidance of AR Rahman.

She had reportedly been upset with the other actresses following suit and trying their own hand at playback singing.

However, Alia has slammed all these reports, and come out stating that she is not upset with her colleagues.

“Alia has vehemently denied being upset with her colleagues. She believes that they are all, including herself, primarily actors and singing is just an extension of their art. They don’t believe they are Sonu Nigams to be impeccable,” a source said.

Alia was last seen singing in her critical and commercial success, ‘Dear Zindagi’.
