Mumbai: While Shah Rukh Khan is known to set a trend too many in the industry, the superstar hit the bull’s eye, by choosing to star in director Aanand L Rai’s upcoming film, where he will be seen in the role of a dwarf. The last time a mainstream actor pulled the stunt off in a full-fledged role was Kamal Haasan, in his cult film ‘Appu Raja’.
Considering the sheer difficulty of pulling a role as challenging as that off, no one expected another actor to follow suit.
However, rumours had been set aflot stating that Emraan Hashmi will be sene playing a dwarf in Mohit Suri’s next, based on a script penned by Milap Zaveri.
Howver, official sources have no affirmed that Emraan has signed no such film.
"Emraan Hashmi will not be playing a dwarf in Mohit Suri's next film. Contrary to the speculation, Emraan is not aware of any such film, leave alone signing it. Currently he is busy working on Captain Nawab and will make an announcement of his next film soon,” the sources confirmed.
Emraan is also working on Milan Luthria’s ‘Baadshaho,’ alongside Ajay Devgn.
