And for those who have been waiting to see these two talented actors cast opposite each other in a film, Zoya Akhtar has granted their wish. The director has roped in Alia and Ranveer for her next project.
Not very long ago, there was speculation about Ranbir Kapoor and Zoya teaming up, but now the latter has taken Ranveer on board.
On the other hand, Alia had met Zoya early last year for a possible collaboration but at that time the filmmaker didn’t have an appropriate role for her. After collaborating in Dil Dhadakne Do, Ranveer and Zoya have been great friends. In fact, a few weeks ago, Ranveer was spotted leaving Zoya’s house after having dinner with her.
