Amitabh, Aamir support Swara Bhaskar's inspiring Nil Battey Sannata trailer

Swara Bhaskar’s upcoming drama ‘Nil Battey Sannata’, directed by debutant filmmaker Ashwini Iyer Tiwari is getting Bollywood biggies buzzing. The makers of the film launched their first trailer on Monday, and all thanks to stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Anil Kapoor, that the trailer is finally getting its due credits.

The heart-warming film tells the story of a single mother who enrols in the same school as her daughter to help improve her academic performance.

Calling the trailer ‘inspiring, moving and uplifting’, Aamir Khan did his bit to lend some of his star power to this tale.

Amitabh Bachchan, who worked with Ashwini in ‘Bhoothnath Returns’ also sent out his good wishes for the film.

While ‘Neerja’ star Sonam Kapoor joined Swara for the poster launch, Anil Kapoor helped promote her trailer.

Actresses Aditi Rao Hydari and Athiya Shetty also showed their support by sharing the trailer on their social networking handles.

‘Nil Battey Sannata also stars Ratna Pathak Shah and Pankaj Tripathi in prominent roles, and has been produced by Aanand L Rai and Ajay Rai.

The film is expected to release on April 22 along with its Tamil remake ‘Amma Kanakku’.
