Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra welcomed a girl child in their house earlier this week. “Our prayers have been answered with a miracle. With gratitude in our hearts, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of our little angel Samisha Shetty Kundra, born February 15, 2020,” Shilpa said in a statement.
“Junior SSK in the house. ‘Sa’ in Sanskrit is “to have” and ‘Misha’ in Russian stands for “someone like God”. You personify this name, our Goddess Laxmi and complete our family,” added the statement explaining the name and signed off by the ecstatic parents Raj and Shilpa and an overjoyed brother, Viaan.
Besides Shilpa, Sunny Leone and husband Daniel Weber had adopted a girlchild Nisha and then extended their family by including two more children — sons Noah and Asher — via surrogacy. Krushna Abhishek and actress Kashmera Shah are also proud parents of twin boys. Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan’s bundle of joy AbRam was also born through surrogacy. And then, there are others like Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao who had Azaad from surrogacy, Sohail and Seema Khan’s son Yohan, Tusshar Kapoor’s son Lakshya, Karan Johar’s twins Yash and Roohi and Ekta Kapoor’s son Ravie, among others, have been born via surrogacy.
