New Delhi: Mark your calendar guys! Bollywood powerhouse Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer ‘Dream Girl’ has finally got a release date.

The film is set to hit theatres on September 13, 2019. Indian film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to announce the release date of the film. He wrote, “Release date finalised... #DreamGirl to release on 13 Sept 2019... Stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha... Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa... Produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor and Aashish Singh.”

In December, the first poster of ‘Dream Girl’ was unveiled by Ayushmann on his Instagram account. In the poster, Ayushmann can be seen sitting on a scooter wearing a yellow coloured saree over a white tee. He is also wearing a set of bangles and rubber slippers. He had captioned it as, "As whacky as it can get! Here's the first glimpse of my look in and as Dream Girl". He also announced that he started shooting for the film in Mathura in the same Instagram post.

The upcoming film has aroused curiosity among the audience ever since it was announced with a promo video in November. The video showed Ayushmann discussing what to work on next with his team. While they come up with overdone content, the waiter suggests a script which the actor ends up loving and choosing for his next film.

Apart from Ayushmann, the film also stars 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' fame Nushrat Bharucha. The two will be seen sharing screen space for the first time in 'Dream Girl. The film will also see Manjot Singh, who was last seen in the 'Fukrey' franchise, playing Ayushmann's best friend in the film.

Backed by Ekta Kapoor, the film will be a comedy riot and will be directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa.
