With a little more than two weeks for the wedding, most hotels, security agencies, bouncers, local and outstation travel agencies, bus owners, luxury car services and catering services in Jaipur are on their toes, making requisite arrangements.
The wedding, slated to be conducted between 7 and 9 December this year, will take place in Hotel Six Senses, Barwara Fort. The couple have requested their friends and relatives to keep their dates free a few days before and after the event and have a few more things planned.
According to sources, there are several guests, which include over a 100 VIP guests plus their entourage for the wedding. “Six Senses Fort and other star hotels have been booked for these guests. Additionally, some guest houses have also been pressed into service to take care of the entourage, the drivers of all the luxury cars, the buses and the vanity vans as well,” one of the sources adds.
Around 50 rooms have been blocked for the families and close friends of the family at the Six Senses, the drivers of the luxury cars will be stationed in the guest houses close to the hotels. Buses and other vehicles have been booked from various travel companies in the Pink City. Fifty luxury cars have been booked and two more vanity vans and a superloo will be accompanying these vehicles.
Sources also inform that a top disc jockey has also been called in from Mumbai to play at the wedding. The security detail will include 100 bouncers from Jaipur. A sweet home has been booked for making the sweetmeats for the event, other Rajasthan speciality dishes along with international cuisine has also been ordered. It is believed that the couple has already finalised their Sabyasachi outfits....
