After Sarbjit', Vashu Bhagnani now takes Sarvann' international!

Mumbai: Vashu Bhagnani has always been known for marketing his films uniquely, he believed in giving wings to young talents in Bollywood.

Bhagnani, who has always been associated with experimental yet entertaining films, is, now, not only spreading his production house’s wings to regional cinema with debut Punjabi film ‘Sarvann’ but also set to take the film into international market. First ‘Sarbjit’ was screened in Cannes and now Pooja films took ‘Sarvann’ to Toronto.

Recently a press conference was held in Toronto for the film ‘Sarvann’ which was attended by Deepshikha Bhagnani, Priyanka Chopra, Dr. Madhu Chopra, Simi Chehail and Punjabi superstar Amrinder Gill. This is the first time a regional film has been promoted in international soil at such a huge level.

​The first look of Pooja films and Priyanka Chopra's debut Punjabi venture ‘Sarvann’ created quite an impact and had a brilliant response from the industry and from the audiences. The film is produced by all women's team consisting of Deepshikha Deshmukh, Priyanka Chopr​a and Dr. Madhu Chopra.

‘Sarvann’ is a beautiful and heart-touching narrative of a young NRI returning to India to find his roots. It is the coming-of-age story of a young boy who unknowingly discovers his identity.

The film is directed by Karan Guiliani, the movie stars Punjabi film and music superstar Amrinder Gill and Ranjit Bawa, who is making his acting debut with this film, and Simi Chehail of ‘Bambookat’ fame.

The film is written by the popular and successful writer Amberdeep Singh with music composed by Jatinder Shah.
