Actress Diana Penty was last seen in Happy Phirr Bhaag Jayegi. The actress, who is picking scripts very carefully, believes that things are changing for actresses in Bollywood for the better. She feels more and more married actresses are now getting work.
Diana says, “I think it is changing now, and more and more actresses are doing more work. In the West, actresses are working all their lives and it doesn’t really matter how old they are. It is about what part you fit. It doesn’t matter what your biological age is.”
Pointing out the changes that the Hindi film industry is going through, she says, “Actresses who are married are still working now, so it has not affected them at all. I think it is great and that’s how it should be.”
Penty, who started out as a model, has a strong sense of style. “I have been a model all my life, so I do have a certain sense of style. I don’t spend hours in front of the mirror, but I still make a certain effort to put things together so it is interesting because that is related to being an actor,” says the actress.
