Mumbai: Sidharth Malhotra might have had a string of big flops but the actor is still very much in demand.
Sid was last seen alongside Jacqueline Fernandez, who reportedly is the reason behind his much publicised breakup with Alia Bhatt, in 'A Gentleman'.
The film, which had earlier been rumoured to be a sequel to Hrithik roshan and Katrina Kaif's 'Bang Bang,' had failed to set the box-office on fire. However, Sid has progressed to work hard on Neeraj Pandey's 'Aiyaary,' which has him co-starring Manoj Bajpayee. Saidharth will be seen playing an army man in the film, as per rumours.
However, the latest tidbit doing the rounds is that he might also have signed his first biopic, to star as Kargil martyr Vikram Batra.
Incidentally, the character had earlier been played by Abhishek Bachchan in JP Dutta's 'LOC Kargil'. While the film is in its scripting stage, Sid is said to be quite stoked about it.
It remains to be seen if the film works at the box-office but the actor's choice of films are sure worth an applause.
