Has Katrina Kaif gone back into her shell?

The actress has got back to being her old self and has been avoiding the media.

Katrina’s suspiciously over-friendly behaviour with the media remained as short-lived as Baar Baar Dekho in the theatres. After going all-out to woo the media with smiles and her quaint Hindi, Katrina retreated right into her shell, refusing even to talk to the paparazzi at the airport on September 14, when she left for London.

According to eyewitnesses, Katrina not only refused to speak to the media at the airport, but also refused to get out of her car until the photographers left. Says the source, “Katrina was willing to miss her flight. But she wouldn’t get out of her car until the paparazzi left. It was just weird.”

“This is the same actress who was prancing and grooving all over the place with Sidharth Malhotra to promote Baar Baar Dekho, just two weeks ago,” says a filmmaker who has worked with Katrina.

“She effectively played the fun-loving gal on Kapil Sharma’s show, leaving the team stunned. She was even selling chappals on Comedy Night Bachao. And now, she is back to being her sullen old self. Kuch toh consistency honi chahiye behaviour mein. Or is it just a use-the-media-as-per-your-convenience stunt?”

Actress bolts from award ceremony
Katrina Kaif was presented with the Smita Patil Memorial Award for Best Actor by the socio-cultural organisation, Priyadarshini Academy, on Monday. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari honoured the actress with the award.

Also, a day before the award ceremony, the news of Katrina being given this award had spread, more so because of the trolls who made fun of the actress, who is not quite known for her acting skills.

Katrina herself did not speak at the function and actually opted to sneak out after the ceremony, even though the publicist handling the event had promised media interaction. When contacted, the actress’ spokesperson informed, “Media interactions with Katrina were never planned at the award ceremony.”
