It is confirmed. Phone Bhoot will be Katrina Kaif’s next release after Sooryavanshi.

The Farhan Akhtar-produced film directed by Gurmeet Singh, and also starring Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi, will spook you next year.

While Diwali 2020 was the scheduled date for the Sooryavanshi release, trade pundits say it may well be pushed depending on how the COVID-19 situation pans out. In this context, Farhan Akhtar and the three actors made a joint announcement.

Katrina Kaif said, “A major announcement was on the way when lockdown happened.” Ishaan Khatter confirmed that it was, “An absolute blast of a script.”

Katrina is also looking forward to her big-ticket announcement in the superhero franchise with director Ali Abbas Zafar. Ali had confirmed that he was working on a superhero film with Katrina in the lead, and sources later added that it would be a two-part project, ideally for a digital platform. A new idea titled Mr India, with multiple changes in the script of the original film, is on the anvil.
