Sara Ali Khan bagged Simmba thanks to this; Salman to clash with Ranveer?

In 2015, Ranveer clashed with Shah Rukh Khan's Dilwale' which was directed by Rohit Shetty.

Mumbai: Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan was recently announced as the leading lady of ‘Simmba’. This is the second movie Sara has bagged post her debut film ‘Kedarnath’.

Sara’s debut film was put on hold because of certain issues with the project, and thus, the makers reportedly asked the debutante to go ahead and sign the dotted line for Rohit Shetty’s ‘Simmba’ starring Ranveer Singh.

Interestingly, Karan Johar, who is launching Sara’s competitor Janhvi Kapoor with ‘Dhadak’, also happens to be the co-producer of ‘Simmba’.

A source informed Bollywood Life, “Even after the fallout between KriArj and Abhishek Kapoor, Sara was in touch with the makers. They knew that Sara is doing Karan’s film. It was not that they were not aware of what Sara is doing next, and didn’t want her to waste her time. She is very young, and they encouraged her to take up any other film that she wanted to. Karan is very fond of Sara and the latter has always wanted to work with Ranveer. So it all worked out eventually.”

The movie, makers revealed, will release on 28th December. “Sara Ali Khan in #Simmba with @RanveerOfficial directed by ROHIT SHETTY! Releasing on the 28th of December 2018 ! This winter gets hotter!,” tweeted Karan Johar.

This means that there is a possibility that Ranveer’s movie will clash with Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg 3’.

Even though ‘Dabangg 3’ has not gone on floors yet, it is believed that the script is in place and the pre-production is on in full swing, and the makers are waiting for Salman to finish ‘Race 3’ shooting so he can complete ‘Dabangg 3’ by October so that the movie can be ready for the Christmas release.

In 2015, Ranveer clashed with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’ which was directed by Rohit Shetty. This time along, Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh might have to face Bhaijaan Salman Khan.
